You guys will LOVE this. A couple days ago, my foot was hurting VERY badly. I had to stop several times to get energy and allow some of the pain to go away. I ended up having to go to the doctor because it was so bad. Sergio also had some kind of problem with his knee, and he couldnt continue, so we stayed in Pamplona or Los Arcos I think it was, and went to the doctor while the rest of the crew went to the next town and got us spots in the Albergue.
Well, I ended up getting something called electro-shock therapy!! The doc wrapped my foot in some kind of moist wrap and attached what looked like mini jumper cables to it and put some kind of machine with dials next to me. She did the same for Sergrio.
She left us for a bit to electricute ourselves!! Whenever we couldnt feel the electricity, we had to turn up the voltage! It was craaazy and hilarious! I didnt want to keep turning so Andres, my friend who translates and stayed with us to translate for me, ended up being in charge of the dials for me and sergio. I know he had fun with it!
